The most experienced member of our team is the founder of our company. Ricarda Essrich is both the brains and the heart of our company. She is experienced in a wide range of industries, and knows the construction industry inside and out. Scandinavia has been her second home since childhood, so it is hardly surprising that she also earned a master’s degree in Scandinavian studies. With her name, Ricarda vouches for the quality of every single translation we produce, and that is precisely why no project is sent off to the client before crossing her desk for quality assurance.
Everyone on the team at Essrich Language Services knows you can accomplish more when you work together, so many of our translators are actively involved in professional associations and networks. Ricarda Essrich herself is the Chairperson of the Board of the North Rhine-Westphalia state chapter of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ), a member of the Association of German-speaking Translators of Literary and Scientific Works (VdÜ) and of Texttreff, a network of women who work with words. Our networking benefits our clients as well. We can accommodate client requests even if they fall outside of our area of expertise.
